"Massive 9/11 TV Archive" Updated!
- Posted by Andrew on 09.17.2009 Permalink
Hey all,
I have been listening to Alex Jones' radio show the last few days and have to recommend to everyone to take a chance and listen to at least one of his shows at http://www.infowars.com/ . I would also like to mention that the whole Kanye West crap at the MTV VMAs was almost like a staged coverup (maybe I'm making this up I don't know) of Charlie Sheen going public with his support that 9/11 was an inside job. Why would anyone care about what he did and why would Obama call him a "jackass" in front of news reporters at a time like this? Why did Charlie not get national news coverage but this crap did? None of this stuff makes any sense in my mind and which is why I was encouraged to release these updated lists of the "Massive 9/11 TV Archive" which Archive.org removed the ability to download the (MPEG-2/higher resolution) files. I don't have time but I'm sure someone can put together some video evidence to support his 20 points in 20 minutes (Thanks to GooglePatriotPortal for the express version!) Here they are:
MPEG-4 format
Ogg Vorbis format
MPEG-2 format (doesn't work)
They might not be as high of a resolution as the old ones but it works! If you are using Firefox 3.5 then you can view the Ogg format videos right in your browser :D

A mini rant
- Posted by Andrew on 08.21.2009 Permalink
Hacking isn't stealing information and wreaking havoc, it's about getting inside and learning something new about something you are interested in without the help of others. A way to make something out of nothing by taking other things you have learned and applying it to new things and ideas. It's a way of thinking, not something you can just learn. It is and never was about stealing people's information and money, destroying people's pictures/data/hard work, and trying to gain respect from others. It's just a way of life and I'm proud to call my self a hacker, it's just that no one else seems to know what it truly means. Sometimes I don't make mention of anything I like to do because people might not trust me in the future because of what the media and everyone else thinks hackers are. I normally always keep it to myself but I started this rant on Facebook's 'About Me' section to hopefully get a response. I know I am not the only person who thinks this way, we just need to be more outspoken. Comments? E-mail me at andrew[at]omghax.ca and I'll be sure to reply and make a new post or add onto this one with your comments.

iPhone/iPod Touch Shoutcast ads
- Posted by Andrew on 07.23.2009 Permalink
Hey everyone,
I love the iPod Touch Shoutcast app so when I had the opportunity to update the app I though there was no sense not to (good things can only get better, right?). But I was wrong, the update brought "better stability" and some ads at the bottom of each tab when browsing for streams. As much as I hate ads, these are the even more annoying ones that pop up each and every time you change a tab or view and were really pissing me off. So I just went about my way (thanks Squid) and found a very easy way to stop them from being displayed, all you need to do is add these lines into the /etc/hosts of your iPhone/iPod Touch:
127.0.0.1 image.m-adx.com
127.0.0.1 ad.m-adx.com
There you go, the Shoutcast app without extremely annoying ads.
This might also block some ads in other applications that come from the same company (Third Screen Media.)
