Fail Security at the CBC-SRC, St. John's
Every good Canadian and many other people around the world watch or listen to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, whether it's for the news, for the wonderful programming (lol Coronation Street) or for it's charming weather guy here in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ryan Snoddon. Well on June 7, 2009, myself and Andrew were looking at a few things, from the awesome phone setup at the C.A. Janeway Hospital for the telethon, to going to the CBC HQ on Prince Philip Drive in St. John's to see if we can see the behind the scenes work for the telethon. When we went up to the front doors of the CBC building, we tried opening the two locked doors, and this security person at the front of the building opened the door for us and let us in, no questions asked. We looked into a couple rooms and when we were in an IT room, we ended up getting caught by someone who was working in there. Pictures from interesting things in and around the CBC building will soon be uploaded to the pictures section of this site.
So let us all take a moment to applaud the high end security of Canada's top broadcaster.
